The hardest marathon in the world
With 2561 meters of ascent and 2005 meters of descent, the Mountainman MARATHON must be the toughest and hardest marathon race in the world!
The Marathon starts at the Station Turren in the Holiday Ressort Schönbüel (Lungern). From there the trails passes through the magnificent area of the Glaubenberg with its moors, meadows and forests. The last climb to Mt. Pilatus will be breath taking in both ways: physically and astonishingly!
